Since beginning his career as a Professional Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Agent in June 1995, Mark has helped well over 1,195 families in the Kitchener and Waterloo areas buy or sell a home. In 2007–'08-'09 Mark and his Team sold over 465 homes making him the only RE/MAX agent in Kitchener-Waterloo to earn the prestigious RE/MAX Chairman’s Club Award. That places Mark solidly in the Top 1% of all Real Estate Agents Nationwide! In 2010 Mark earned the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award.
Following completion of secondary school at Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate, Mark joined one of Canada's leading grocery retailers. Operating in several departmental and managerial positions, he gained valuable business experience and human relation skills. In January 1977, Mark joined J.M. Schneider Inc. as a Senior Sales Account Executive. He served with Schneiders in various regions across Canada and was awarded numerous times for his outstanding sales, marketing and leadership achievements.
Mark's unique blend of entrepreneurial experience, along with his outstanding work ethic eventually lead him to found Mega Pizza, Inc. In less than three years Mark grew the company to a total of seven outlets in five different municipalities. He served as President until 1992 when he chose to sell the business and pursue new challenges.
Mark has a genuine love for people and for the Kitchener Waterloo Real Estate profession. He believes any individual willing to pay for the services of a Professional Real Estate Agent deserves only the absolute best that Agent has to offer. Mark is a highly skilled negotiator and constantly strives to obtain his clients the very best possible price and terms whether buying or selling a Waterloo or Kitchener home. Mark is a past director of the Confederation Club of Canada and a past director of the Twin Cities Kiwanis Club. He is an active member and has served on the council at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Kitchener. In addition, Mark is an enthusiastic supporter of the Children's Miracle Network and the Children's Health Foundation. Mark was born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo and amazingly, claims he still holds out hope of one day being drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
